ENT Procedures
ENT procedures are the medical treatments or surgeries performed by the specialists to address conditions related to the ear, nose and throat. These procedures can involve diagnosing, treating or surgically correcting the issues such as hearing loss, sinus problems, voice disorders, sleep apnea and infections. Some examples include ear tube insertion, tonsillectomy, sinus surgery and vocal cord surgery.
Common ENT Procedures :
Tonsillectomy – The Removal of the tonsils to treat chronic infections or breathing problems.
Ear Tube Insertion – A procedure to treat the ear infections or fluid buildup in the middle ear.
Laryngoscopy – A procedure to examine the vocal cords & larynx, used to diagnose voice disorders.
Sleep Apnea Surgery – A surgical treatment like UPPP, to improve breathing during sleep.
Thyroid Surgery – Surgery to remove thyroid nodules or treat thyroid conditions affecting voice & breathing.

EAR
- EUM - Examination under microscope.
- Ear Suction for ear discharge, wax and fungus.
- Foreign body removal.
- Incision and drainage of abscess.
- Ear dressing for infections.
- Ear piercing.
- Ear lobule Repair.
- Myringotomy and Grommet Insertion.
- Intratympanic steroid injection.
- Excision Biopsy of Ear polyp, swelling/benign lesion (keloid, mole and cyst).
- Repair of trauma and cut injuries.

NOSE
- Nasal suction and cleaning.
- Endoscopic examination of nose and sinuses.
- Nasal and Post Nasal Biopsy.
- Nasal cautery for nosebleeds (epistaxis)
- Turbinate Reduction.
- Excision of benign lesion of nose (mole,cyst).
- Repair of trauma and cut injuries.

THROAT
- Biopsy from any growth/mass lesion in mouth/throat.
- Excision biopsy of benign lesions like retention cyst, hemangioma, ulcer, leukoplakia/erythroplakia.
- Repair of cut, traumatic injury of lips, tongue.
- Tongue tie excision.
- Laryngoscopic examination.

HEAD & NECK
- Excision biopsy of benign lesion (cyst, lymphadenopathy).
- Repair of cut, traumatic injury.
