Thyroid Issues

Thyroid issues refer to various medical conditions that affect the thyroid gland, a small butterfly-shaped organ located at the base of the neck. The thyroid plays a crucial role in regulating metabolism by producing hormones that control the body’s energy use, temperature and other vital functions. Problems with thyroid can lead to an imbalance in hormone levels, causing a wide range of symptoms and health concerns.

Thyroid Nodules: Thyroid lumps, often benign but sometimes cancerous, may cause neck swelling or thyroid issues.

Thyroid Cancer: Thyroid cancer is a rare condition that may cause a neck lump, hoarseness or difficulty in swallowing.
